L'Associazione Culturale Italian Liners è lieta di presentare una nuova sezione dedicata ai soli soci, “Novità in Archivio”, per tenervi sempre aggiornati sui materiali storici che entrano a far parte della nostra collezione. Quasi ogni giorno ci arrivano una nuova fotografia, un opuscolo, una cartolina, un disegno...

Ciascuno reca con se un tassello di storia e ha un suo fascino intrinseco: ci ricorda gli avvenimenti di una nave e di persone, ha viaggiato nel tempo per portarci un ricordo e un’emozione dal passato che è poi bello condividere con quanti nutrono lo stesso interesse e la stessa passione.

L’intento, come sapete, è di catalogare e digitalizzare ciascun documento del quale veniamo in possesso per arricchire il nostro museo virtuale e rendere tutti partecipi.

 

 

The Italian Liners Historical Society is pleased to announce the opening of a new section devoted to members only, “News from our Archives”. It is intended to keep all our members updated on the new historical ephemera becoming part of our archives. Virtually every day arrives a new photograph, a booklet, a postcard, a drawing...

Each of these items is like the small tile of a mosaic: it brings along its history and charm, connected to the history of a ship and of some people; it has travelled into the space and the time to keep alive memories and emotions worth to be enjoyed with those who shear our same interest and passion.

The target, as you know, is to catalogue and digitise each document we come into possession to extend our virtual museum and make it accessible to everybody.
